Period 2 Bill Brandt Photos

The best pictures  I taken of are mostly of Daniela & Naomy. Taking pictures like Bill Brandt has been a really hard challenge because he basically would take close up pictures and the focus on the person and the background to.The way that Bill Brandt only taken pictures in black & white its actually nice because that way you try to figure out what type of emotion they could be going threw not just because they're in black & white means that they're sad or depressed . I think that Bill Brandt chose to do his photographs that way because it meant something different to him. I just like the way he took all his pictures and just focused on that one person the most but also the meaning of his photographs.

Bill Brandt is an interesting photographer that our group chose to make pictures of because of the way he sees of taking picture although they were all black and white he always had an inspiration to take them.  Brandt was  a person that like working in dark rooms but people would notice his work the way he would re crop and edit his pictures. Bill was a person that like taking pictures of anything but also he would take close up pictures of people he didn't even know.But he also had unique photographs that other photographers didn't have .As you can tell his images were different from other pictures . He also love taking pictures in black and white . the reason we chose him is because of his creative and the way he would take his pictures.

The three things I learned in the websites is about how to capture the photo and the background. but also how to adjust the camera so you can take the picture nice and also look for good lighting in the background.

Artistic Review

 Bryan Farley website is a very interesting site to look at awesome pictures . His website his really nice and has interesting pictures just by the way of seeing his photographs  you can tell that he loves to taking pictures but not only of his family but also of other things around him. His website can teach you a lot about his texture and theme but also about his experienced in taking photographs .

Just looking at the pictures you can tell that every single of them have a different story of them. Not because their smiling doesn't mean they have a story behind that smile. Everyone enjoys to see different pictures that can tell a different story like whether they're happy or sad. In the first picture on his home you can see the lady excited for her wedding while she getting her makeup done and hair . You can see a emotion in that picture because it shows that she happy and nervous because of her wedding.


The second picture shows a nice clear image of the two children. They show a nice and calm emotion of them enjoying the  party but also enjoying looking up at the sky. The bright colors on the girls earring and also the boy color is reflected with the sun light. The white shirts can reflect both of the kids skin color but also make them look bright. The two kids looking up can give you a story about what they might be looking at and also they were surprised about it. Everyone photograph can have their own story but you just got to look at it good to find it out.

I chosed to crop this picture because of the background of the picture there's more texture but also more pattern to the little girls leggings. There's also fill in the frame with the bubble and the most of all the background light that reflects on the photograph .

Fill in Frame

Fill in the frame could be sort of difficult but its a challenge you could take to learn new things. Taking pictures of filling in the frame are mostly everywhere around you but you just got to know what you're going to take the picture & get the focus right so that you could capture your picture. Fill in the frame its a new thing to do cause that way if you want to be a professional photographer you'll know what fill in the frame is and how to focus the camera to get the picture just right.

Yosmemite & Photography

Pop Laval would make money by people going to Yosemite Park. Even though he would take pictures of Yosemite they wouldn't pay him for his pictures. The ones taking pictures of Yosemite would be the employees. For the images to be created you would need a special camera but also editing them . Yes the Yosemite employees get paid to take pictures but also to sell them . If I was going to capture a good picture of Yosemite then i would have to look for wheres theres light the perfect view but also a nice angle to capture the picture. What i would want to do is take some pictures of nature and lakes but mostly the most wonderful calm places to be at. One thing i would love to capture is the sunset when theirs beautiful colors in the sky when the sun is going down.

Photo Booth

in the 1889 worlds fair was revealed that it was more significant because it was a different way to take pictures. Also police and prisoners would use it to take mug shots , but also women would strip in the photo booth as well teens would squeeze in the booths and take pictures with their friends. But more importantly was that even celebrities would also use the photo booth  like Marilyn Monroe . But the photo booth companies would make alot of money .

5 Different Effects

i chose the mirror picture because it looked like you have another twin.

i chose black & white because it reminds be of the old days when tv didn't have color

this picture is normal because i wanted to do one with out a filter .

i chose glow because it makes you look shiny & nice.

Last and finally i chose the sunset as my background because it looks calm & beautiful

Elements of Arts

the elements for art are the texture , space ,shape , color and tone/value. those elements of art are used to make the picture look better and used better for but also to make your photos look better. you have to pay attention to the textures and patterns of the photo but also look for better ways to find a way of the pattern and shapes . For my next project i would use this by paying attention to my close photos but also looking for patterns and the shape but more importantly for the color of the texture . Our group next project is going to be on sports just taking pictures of athletics but now we know our elements of art its going to help us more taking a better pictures.

The 5 elements of photography has all types of textures and patterns. It also shows the type of symmetry that the picture would have but it also shows all the lines that  the picture would have. This website has all type of texture that a photo would have . But its nice how it shows us all their photography in a nice way

Photography mad is a website were they could show you some photos about the third rules of photography but a better way to look at the texture an measurement of the photo. Photography mad also show us the balancing of elements and the leading of the lines of the photography.

Nikon website has all types of beautiful pictures of the textures from photography. Also it shows you all of the third rule on the photos . The website shows you all of the patterns and textures and also before and after you edit a picture to a better position.

Lights

Light reflects on some people by there clothes it depends on what their wearing. It makes people feel uncomfortable to be under the light with people looking at them, I would notice that on one of my group memebers was wearing black and the light would reflect off her shirt. But since I was wearing white the light would reflect more on me because of the white shirt . On the rest of my classmates the wasnt alot of light reflecting on them but on one of them did reflect it but it was because her glasses. Taking pictures in the light could make a person feel awkard because they have to stay quite & still. But I got to say that light makes things look better and brighter .
